Judeen Faye Edwards

Judeen was born 11/16/1944 in Bellingham, WA and passed away 1/28/2015 in University Place, WA. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dwight; son Steven (Emily); daughter Melanie (Ed) Riederich; sister Ruth Werner; 5 grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends. Judeen was raised in Sumas and Lynden WA and graduated from Lynden High School. She attended Western Baptist Bible College in El Cerrito CA. Moved to Los Angeles where she met her future husband, Dwight in 1970. They were married in 1972 at Hawthorne Foursquare Church. Their son, Steven was born in 1973 followed by their daughter, Melanie in 1974. The family relocated to the Pacific NW and lived in Tacoma beginning in 1978. Judeen was first a loving mother and wife but also worked for a time as a Certified Nurses Aid in the Seattle area. Above all else she always focused on helping others before herself and will be remembered as one who loved life, humor, family, and a truly devoted friend to those she knew. We all will miss you but take comfort in knowing that you are now with your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and someday we shall meet again in Glory. Burial took place privately at the Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th Street, Kent, WA 98042.
