Alonzo Jennings

Alonzo Jennings III, 47, of Tacoma Washing, passed away Friday October 12, 2012. He was born to the late Alonzo Jennings Jr. and Margaret Jennings, July 18, 1965 in Tacoma, WA. Alonzo graduated from Mount Tahoma High School in 1983. Although Alonzo worked many jobs throughout his lifetime, his most meaningful and possibly defining position was his role at McCarver Elementary, where he served as a playground supervisor for over 10 years. Alonzo enjoyed caring for his Grandmother; spending time with his family and friends; and watching DVD movies and sports, especially football. Alonzo is survived by three daughters: Tiffanie Beatty (Chicago), Talonna Beatty and Tamyra Jennings. His Grandmother Ida M. Dowdell, Mother Margaret Jennings; sister Delores Jennings; Half sister Vanessa Jennings (Viringina Beach) and Angela Jennings (Port Arthur, Texas), Half brother Jesse Lee Jennings (Port Arthur Texas), nieces Mahogany and Myeshia Jennings. He also is survived by two grandchildren: Tamya Jennings and TreyVon Alonzo Jennings-Loyuk as well as a host of cousins in Washington, Kentucky (Aunt Bea), Georgia and Florida. I wonder if there are clouds Covering the mountain's peak, cops patrolling Quiet streets, and evergreens everywhere. I wonder if Heaven has a Hilltop. I wonder how perfect My father looks walking Home. I wonder if the children Are loved, the women embraced, the men respected. I wonder if they know Alonzo Jennings III.
