Michelle Renee VanAllen

Michelle Renee Van Allen, 33 of Olympia, died of brain tumors Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at her home. Michelle was a 1989 graduate of Tumwater High School and was a sophomore at Puget Sound Community College. She lived in Lake Stevens prior to moving to Olympia. She loved her friends, working on computers, gardening, camping, and dancing. Michelle is survived by her two sons, Tyler, age 12, and Brandon, age 10, of Lake Stevens; two brothers, Howard Rumsey, of Olympia, and David Rumsey, of Elma; one sister, Kelly Winther, of Lake Stevens; her parents, Howard and Georgia Rumsey, of Olympia; and grandmother, Donna Rumsey, of Olympia. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Odd Fellows Memorial Park, Tumwater. A reception will follow services at Masonic Center.
