Mack was born in Naches, Washington December 18th, 1932 to Carl Peterson and Calla Elmira Armstrong. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his 6 siblings. His youngest Brother Thomas(Beverly) Peterson of Sedro Woolley, Washington survives him. Mack's first marriage to Phyllis Elaine White produced 5 children. Gregory (Kathy), Walter (Lynn), Dennis (Kathy), Kimberly (John) Vanrossum and Tami (Russell) all of Washington State. The children have two half sisters Annette (Calvin) Shangreaux of Washington and Manitowah Burkland Bjorke and her husband Daniel Deweert of Montana. In January 1998 Mack and Carol Powell united their lives and families. Embracing Carol's 5 children: Kathy (Ken)Swanson, George (Lisa) Powell, Chris Elliot, Dave Gravenish, Fred (Leticin) Roth and Traci (Johnny) Johnson. Mack joined the Air Force in 1949 and was honorably discharged in 1953. Mack held many jobs throughout his life.His one true love was working in Real estate and construction. He retired as a Meat-cutter and had also worked as a Forest Ranger for Oregon State.. Mack enjoyed watching and cheering on the Mariners. One of his favorite things to do was to hike with members of his family, especially his grandsons Matt and Nick Peterson. Mickey touched many lives and will truly be missed.
