December 2nd, 1950 - August 21st, 2013
Dennis Iverson,62, passed away on the 21st of August after a long battle with cancer. He grew up in the Summit View area and graduated from Franklin Pierce High School, class of 69. Nicknamed Dennis the Menace as a child, he kept most of the family laughing with his antics. His smile could often save the day. Dennis was his own boss, a self employed gardening contractor. He had many interests, enjoyed fishing, star watching and other outdoor activities. He was and enthusiastic Mariners and Seahawk supporter. He was an avid music lover and LP album collector. Preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Helen , his brother Daryl of Vancouver and daughter Julie. Survived by his son Jason of Tacoma, brothers DeWayne (Noreen) of Yelm, Doug of Graham, sister Carol (George) Robson of Auckland New Zealand, numerous nephews and nieces and his lifelong and caring companion Kathy who was with him as he began his new journey to the stars. A private family memorial will be held.
