Donald R. Miller, 68, passed away April 6, 2017 in Olympia, Washington. He was born September 2, 1948 to Luther and Bobby Miller in Washington, DC. Donald graduated from Butler High School and Augusta College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1991. Over the years lived in Japan, Panama, Hawaii, Georgia, Germany, Oklahoma, and Italy. Donald married Brenda Joyce Callen on November 7, 1970 in Aiken, South Carolina. After the service, he worked for Washington State Telecommunications as a warning systems manager, retiring in 2011. Donald was an avid hunter, golfer, tennis player, fisherman, scuba diver and ham operator. He was a member of the NRA. A loving husband, father and friend, Donald leaves behind his wife, Brenda, son, Steven; sister, Jill; nephews, Ryan, Brian; and niece, Krista. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Joseph; and sister, Karla. Please leave memories of Donald or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
