Richard James Raymond

Richard James Raymond passed away peacefully and in the presence of loved ones Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, WA after a battle with cancer. Richard was born February 14, 1952 to James Raymond and Mary Catherine Harvey in Corona, CA. He served his country in the US Army, stationed at Ft. Lewis and he worked in printing in Tacoma, WA where he had two children, Clyde and Elsie. Later, he moved to Miranda, CA, where he grew up, to be a caretaker but then returned to Washington to spend more time with his children and his companion, Kathleen Cox. Richard and Kathleen lived in Lakewood, WA where they were loyal Mariners and Seahawks fans. Richard is survived by his beloved partner Kathleen Cox, his son Clyde (Zoe) Raymond, his daughter Elsie (Brian) Wescott, his three grandchildren Hollis, Cydney and Ayla, and his extended family and friends who loved him.
