Robert Earl Harris, Sr (July 7, 1941 - January 27, 2014) Robert Earl Harris, Sr was born July 7, 1941 and passed away January 27, 2014 at the age of 72. Robert was born in Corvallis, OR to James “Howard” & Dora Harris. He had one sibling, Ben Harris. Growing up he loved fishing, hunting and camping, during the day he spent more time out in the woods than he did at home. He moved to the Northwest with his wife Mary where he became a resident of Tacoma, WA. He leaves us with many, many memories. Many stories. Many laughs. He is survived by his wife, Mary Harris; daughters Tina Davies, Rebecca Harris, Fustina Harris and Amber Harris, Sons; James Harris and Robert Harris, Jr. Also, his step children; Jerry Deen, Darlee Fain, Pepper Deen, Charles Deen, Terry Deen and Lorie Deen. Robert was blessed with twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren. Robert loved the little ones and he often spoke about how much he was looking forward to meeting his grandchildren in heaven that went before him. After moving to Washington with his wife Mary. Robert started attending New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, he came to love the Lord during this time and his extended church family became very special to him. The family will be hosting an informal 'Celebration Of Life' to share memories, stories and assuredly some laughs in honor of Robert on Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at 2pm.
