David Todd Schwartz

David was born in Yakima, WA on May 16, 1960. He passed away on November 15, 2015 after months of courageously fighting thymic carcinoma, a very rare form of Cancer. At a very early age, he became almost obsessed with technical operations and equipment. The whole family had to hide their electronics or they might find them in a thousand pieces. He was great at taking things apart but it took him a little later in life to figure out how to put them back together. A 1979 graduate of Washington High School, he went on to get his degree in Computer Technology. He had an extremely inquisitive mind. It wasnt long before he was able to answer any question one had on nearly every subject not just technical. If it was an article in the paper, he had already known about it thoroughly. For the past 20 years he was a highly regarded IT tech at MultiCare Medical Facilities, where he worked primarily in desktop administration. David became the computer technician for his extensive family as well. It was not unusual to find him on the phone or in dozens of homes setting their computers up, adding software, or just determining their problems and fixing them. He is survived by his son, Dexter, his parents, Marilyn Jensen and Hillel Guz Schwartz, three sisters: Tamara (Jim) Turner (VA), Karin (Dave) Smith (AZ), Paula (Tanz) Chalmers (New Zealand), nine nieces and nephews and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
