Robert L. “Bob” West Robert L. “Bob” West, 71, a 6 year resident of Olympia, died Monday, February 23, 2009. He was born August 17, 1937 in Pleasant Grove, Mississippi to Von and Mildred H. (Richerson) West. He served in the United States Navy from December 1955 to January 1975. He married Myra Virginia Masingill in Memphis, Tennessee on August 10, 1956. Bob was a member of the Olympia Bible Baptist Church. Including his wife, Myra, Bob is survived by son, Mark R. West of Darrington, WA; two daughters, Cynthia Wilder of Olympia, WA and Michael Smith of Spokane, WA; also 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Donations may be made to Olympia Bible Baptist Church Building Program in lieu of flowers. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Olympia Bible Baptist Church, 704 Delphi Rd. SW, Olympia.
