Robert "Bob" Wayne Gunstrom Born in Tacoma, on August 19, 1944; went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 26, 2008. Bob is survived by his children Rick, Christine (husband Greg), Terri Kim, Jim, Bobby and Billy (wife Tamara). He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and loved ones. Bob was a professional bowler and loved to bowl, loved to write, and loved people. Bob took every opportunity he had to teach people of all ages how to bowl. Bob was a graduate of PLU and a published author who wrote the book, "Killer bowling." Bob also wrote part-time bowling columns for the News Tribune. Bob loved helping people. Bob was a board member of the Pierce County Housing Authority, a longtime board member of the Pierce County AIDS foundation, and on the Governor's Advisory Committee on AIDS. Bob was a deeply religious man, who enjoyed going to and helping out in any way at his church. Bob will be missed by all. His celebration of life will be May 30, 2008 at Eastside Christian Church, 5816 McKinley Ave., Tacoma, WA 98404, at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Pierce County AIDS foundation, 253-383-2565.
