On May 27th Norma Monohon the last surviving member of the George and Aina Salme passed away at St. Joesph Hospital in Tacoma Wa. She was born in Deep River Wa March 15th 1923. Her son Ronald Richard passed away July 2014. Daughter Kay Brierley resides in Tacoma. Daughter-in-law Sharon,3 grand children Joann,Debbie and Chris,7 great grandchildren Ben,Noah,Sarah,Eric,Hagen,Mason and Emma. All reside in Pascagoula Ms. Her nursing career spanned over 35 years. Beginning in Pacific county South Bend Hospital,King county Veterans Hospital, and retired from Montecello Medical Center in Cowlitz county. Private burial at Salmon Creek Cemetery with family.
