Shawn Michelle Jordison

Shawn Michelle Jordison was born on July 4th, 1987. True to the date of her birth, she was a beautiful vibrant firework lighting up the lives of everyone around her. When Shawne was in the sixth grade she met Scott Jordison. Their connection was instant and unbreakable. Their bond was forged in a friendship that blossomed into the kind of love that could not be broken. Their hearts and souls became one and they both knew that they had found their other half. After high school, Shawne and Scott moved to Seattle. Shawne started college at IADT working on a degree in fashion design. Her husband and parents couldn’t be more proud of Shawne’s hard work and accomplishments throughout her life. Shawne ended up working in the medical field. Her bubbly laugh, sweet smile and loving personality made her perfect to help those who needed it most. In 2010, Shawne and Scott bought a house near Seattle, even though they were growing tired of Washington, and made it their home. Frequent travel, spontaneous road trips and late night drives became their favorite things to do, but no matter where they went, they knew together was their favorite place. In July 26, 2014 Shawne and Scott joined in marriage in a small and beautiful ceremony. Shawne was the most beautiful bride, but the most beautiful part of their wedding was seeing the love between the couple. To see them was to see a devotion that would withstand eternity, for each was who they were because of the love of the other. In November of 2014, the greatest tragedy struck. Shawne had battled chronic asthma her whole life and in a horrific moment, her asthma overtook her. Her last words to Scott were “I love you”. Shawne fought for a week, friends and family by her side, and Scott giving her the love and encouragement he always had. On December 5th, 5:16pm Shawne slipped away. She was an angel on earth called home too soon. Shawne is survived by her husband Scott Jordison, her mother Carol Olson, her father John Olson and family all whom loved her. While Shawne’s physical presence is no longer with us, the beautiful light she was to all that loved her will shine forever.
