Don was born June 25, 1946 in Guam and passed away on January 30, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Seattle. His parents, Raymond W. Franz and Carmen Perez Franz, brother, Aurther, who have predeceased him, He is survived by his life partner, Monique of Tacoma, his son, Warren of Guam, and his sisters, Arlene, Doreen, Carmalita and Gena, brothers, David, Albert, William, Lee, and Raymond. Don was an Army veteran, serving 3 tours in Vietnam. After leaving the military, he worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Lewis, retiring after 30+ years of driving truck for AAFES. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, birdwatching, traveling and exploring new places. He enjoyed time spent in the Okanagan looking at the scenery and historical sites. He also enjoyed spending time in Packwood, watching the elk cross the river. He was active in the Chamorro community helping at events and enjoying the company of family and friends. Celebration of Life Reception at 1:30 to be held at Drum Intermediate 4909 79th ave West University Place 98467.
