David Ray Brashear

David (Dave) Ray Brashear, age 65, of Buckingham, FL went home to be with the Lord on January 27th 2014. Dave was born on September 22, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Raymond Allen and the late Marshalene (Bogard) Brashear. Dave leaves behind his loving wife; Cynthia Marie Brashear, sons; David Ray, Jr and wife Gena, Danny Ray and wife Kim, Toby Allan and wife Amanda, grandchildren; Cheyenne, Dustin and Carter Brashear, two sisters; Kathy Brown, Tammy Dorsey and husband Jim (Duck). The viewing will be on Saturday February 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church located at 4050 Colonial Blvd Fort Myers, FL 33966 with the memorial services to follow. Please dress casual as if you're coming to visit with Dave. Immediately following the graveside services a time of fellowship will be held at the Shriners hall located at 2010 Hanson Street. Honorary Pallbearers are: Leon Pinder, Jerry Griffin, Dave Harrison, Larry Bogard, Buddy Singleton, Ricky Gunn, Bobby Smart and Teddy Pickering Jr. Pallbearers are: Gene Bogard, Kevin Davis, Jim (Duck) Dorsey, Andy Carmichael, Ricky Fuller, Richard Gould, Mike Harrison and Kevin Fox. Dave lived a wonderful 65-years doing what he enjoyed the most, spending time with his grand babies and/or in the woods either hunting or fishing. If he wasn't working on a project or helping someone else, you know he's in the woods.
