April 8th, 1949 - August 24th, 2006
Sandra Detering-Young, a resident of Winlock for the last two years, died at Providence Centralia Hospital on Thursday, August 24, 2006. She was born April 8, 1949 in Centralia, Washington. Sandra attended Adna High School. She enjoyed participating with the Washington Old Time Fiddlers Association. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Carrie Rees of Auburn; four grandchildren, Cassandra, Joshua, Chellsea and Brianna Faye; two brothers, Allan of Cheney and Harry of Chehalis; three sisters, Nancy “Wendy” Sommers of Winlock, Carol of Mountlake Terrace and Diana of Olancha, Calif. The family will be having a memorial service that will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to: Washington Old Time Fiddlers Association.
