Patricia Lee Underwood , 74, passed away peacefully at home in Tacoma Washington, June 29th 2012. Patricia, known as Patty to her family and Lee to her friends, was born October 27th 1937 in Toppinish Washington. She lived much of her life in Tacoma but also lived in Yakima, Toppenish and Wapato. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma then spent some time living in Southern California. She married Theodore James Weinreich and they moved back to Tacoma for the birth of their first child. Patricia completed business college with a degree in bookkeeping. She worked several places including Boise Cascade and The Weyerhaeuser Charitable Trust Foundation. She was a voracious reader, an excellent cook and a great storyteller. She loved to laugh and argue. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Patricia is survived by her son Theodore John Weinreich, and daughters Lori Weinreich and Linda Couch. She was "Nanny" to seven grandchildren: Bryan Evans, Rachel Ferdaswezski, Toby Bill, Kenneth "JR" Bill, Nathan Bill, Epiphany Couch and Jason Sigby. She had two great-grandchildren, Oren Bill and Sophia Ferdaswezski. She is preceded in death by her Parents John Underwood and Lula Barbara McMorris (Underwood), her ex-husband Theodore "Ted" James Weinreich, her son Stephen McMorris Weinreich and her sister Jeannie Morris. A celebration of her life will take place at Noon on July 15th on Owens Beach in Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. It will be a potluck picnic for family and friends. This was her favorite way to get together and celebrate. All are invited to come. Gone, but we will never forget.
