Lois Mary Johnson

Lois M Johnson Born Jan. 12, 1924, in St. Paul, MN. to Ernest DeMeules and Gertrude Hecker DeMeules. She returned to her Lord Savior on Nov. 10, 2015. A devoted single mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, Lois still managed to work full time until the age of 74, retiring from the National Guard at Camp Murray as an administrative secretary. She was a founding member is St. John Bosco Church in Lakewood, WA., and remained active in the church choir up until the last few years. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest DeMeules, Gertrude DeMeules and step-mother, Katherine DeMeules. She is survived by her son Bill Johnson (Kris), daughter Cathie Grayson (Roger), son Mike (Suzi), and son Pat (Gayle), 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Her family would like to extend their deepest appreciation and gratitude to Franciscan Hospice, her caregivers (Martha, Angel, Carol, and Christie), and her Guardian Angel (Mykala). The family invites you to celebrate Lois' life on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at St. John Bosco Church in Lakewood. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM. Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception.
