Carlene Marie MacLaine
November 19th, 1964 - July 17th, 2016
Carlene Marie (Wyatt) MacLaine Carlene was born on November 19, 1964 in Charleston, SC to Charles L. and Cheryl K.Wyatt and passed away on July 17, 2016 in Tacoma, WA. At two years old she and her family moved from Charleston, SC to Portland, OR. She spent her early years growing up there until 1978 when she and her family moved to Tacoma, WA. She attended Washington High School and graduated in 1982. After graduation she worked as a flagger in road construction. A few years later she attended Clover Park Technical College and earned a degree in Telecommunications. In 1989, she went to work as a Technician for Digital Access Communications, in Tukwila, WA. Later in life, she worked at Milgard Manufacturing in Tacoma. Carlene loved her family and enjoyed being a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and was an excellent cook. Her Christmas cookies were a special treat enjoyed by all of us. One of her favorite places to go was the Oregon Coast. She enjoyed many happy trips down to Lincoln City, Oregon. She and her husband planned on moving down there after he retired. Carlene was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. We all loved her and we will all miss her. She is survived by her loving husband Patrick MacLaine, daughter Rebecca Heesch, son Michael Swearingen, sister Tris Kelly, sister-n-law Sheila Frugoli, mother Cheryl Johnson, mother-in-law Beth MacLaine and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. No memorial service is scheduled at this time.
