Claire Racey

Claire Racey, 52, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2017 in Olympia, Washington. She was born October 14, 1964 to Francis Racey and Patricia (Swartwood) Racey in Seattle, Washington. She was the mother of Chris Harden, age 24, and Gannon Racey, age 20. She married Peter Missin in Seattle on August 23, 2003. Claire was fiercely intelligent, big-hearted, non-judgmental and loved unconditionally. She enjoyed animals, reading, and watching criminal investigation shows. She also created a warm and artistically decorated home. Claire is survived by her husband, Peter Missin of Olympia; son, Chris Harden of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter, Gannon Racey of Olympia; father, Francis Racey of Deer Harbor, Washington; brother, Noah Racey of New York City, New York; sisters, Caitlin Racey of Seattle, and Susan Taylor of Columbus, Ohio; niece, Rose Honeyman; nephew, Aidan Honeyman; and cousins, Matt, Hank, Jeremy and Thad Vogler, and Ben Krupp. Also surviving are her maternal uncle and aunt, Lester Krupp and Claire Candace Vogler.
