Regina "Gina" Robinson
June 28th, 1958 - August 3rd, 2013
Regina passed away peacefully from this life on August 3rd, 2013 after a strong warrior battle against cancer. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Regina was born in Detroit, MI and lived a happy life there with her family Russel Mays, Laura Johnson, Reginald Mays and Cousin Dean Kline until she married her husband Richard A Robinson of now 38 years. They immediately relocated to Tacoma, WA in 1978, with several prolonged vacations back to Detroit, MI over the years. Regina enjoyed a fruitful career in the healthcare profession as a caregiver and then was promoted into business management for Developmental Mental Adults until 1988 when she gave up her professional career to become a domestic engineer and devote her love, life and passion for people to her family. In July 1986 Regina became a baptized Jehovah's Witness of the Spanaway Congregation where she remained a faithful Christian, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to anyone blessed to know her or receive her love. During the last few years of her life and struggle with cancer Regina did not get to continue her momentum for her spirituality but never lost her faith. In the last year she was able to reconnect with Life-long friends Rosemary Gaddy, Marcia Cruz-Morales and Carolyn Anglin who remained true and loyal friends until her passing date which brought her great joy. Regina is survived by her husband Richard Robinson; Brother, Albert Mays; Sisters, Maggie Wallenmaier; Margarita Harrison-Crump; three children, Tijuan Robinson, James Robinson and Dawn Allen; 12 grandchildren, Jordyn Robinson, Tyreese Robinson, Madalyn Hatcher, Kaylynn Robinson, Kenyon Robinson, Autumn Robinson, Qua'Jon Thomas, Kadijah Webster, Tyus Robinson, Tionna Robinson, Tyson Allen Jr. and Iyana Allen.
