Daniel F. Robinson
November 9th, 1944 - March 11th, 2018
Daniel F. Robinson, aka “Radar,” passed away March 11, 2018, in Olympia, Washington, at age 73. He was born November 9, 1944, to Fredrick Charles and Cleta June Robinson in Olympia. He graduated from Olympia High School in the Class of 1964. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1966, during the Vietnam War. On April 15, 1967, Daniel married Priscilla Isaackson at St. Mark Lutheran Church. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2017. Daniel worked for the Boeing Co. for two years and then a mobile home factory. He also spent a summer working for Washington State Parks. He worked for Capitol Chevrolet for more than 20 years, and retired from Titus-Will of Olympia as their shuttle driver. Daniel had a great sense of humor and loved to tell stories. He also loved fishing, road trips to various states (his favorites being Montana and Wyoming), watching Chicago Cubs baseball, and spending time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his beloved chocolate Lab, Mocha. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla; sons, Fred of Centralia, Walter of Spanaway, and Denay DeLateur; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brother, Ken (wife Janet) of Arcadia, California.
