Steven Joseph Simard August 2nd, 1960 to November 2nd, 2012 FISH ON! SLAB ON! LET'S GET ROLLING! Steve left us peacefully on November 2nd, 2012. He is now with both his dad, Syd, and his younger brother, Danny. Steve is survived by his sons, Craig, Kyle & Colin. He also left behind his mom, Zenith, sisters, Terri & Melody, brothers, Paul & Mike. Steve loved hunting, fishing & gardening. His "medicinal" plants were the largest in the city! He took great pride in his beautiful front yard with it's many dahlias. He also had quite the vegetable garden and shared the bounty with many people. He shared his home with numerous friends. Steve enjoyed entertaining and cooking for special occassions. He struggled with alcohol for many years. This impacted relationships and was not who he was, but it was a disease that controlled part of his life. His big heart shined through when he was able to avoid the alcohol. Steve will be missed by his family and friends who loved him. Please join us in celebrating his life. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 4pm at the Pierce County Environmental Services Building at the end of Grandview Dr W.
