Glenn Joseph Taylor
January 26th, 1953 - August 19th, 2013
Glenn Joseph Taylor was born in Seattle, WA on January 26, 1953, to Byron Taylor and Lucile (Cyr) Taylor. He passed away of natural causes at his home in Puyallup, WA on August 19, 2013. Glenn attended Tyee High School, and worked in the wholesale plumbing industry for over three decades. He loved to laugh, almost as much as he loved his family. Glenn was at his happiest surrounded by his loved ones: playing cribbage or horseshoes, sitting by a campfire, watching a football game, beer in hand, trading stories and jokes. You couldn't say goodbye to him without receiving a hug, a kiss, and a heartfelt "I love you." Glenn was survived by his children, Libya and Joseph Vogt, and Rachel and Joel Caudill; beloved grandchildren Emma, Paige, and Charlie; sisters Emele, Carol, Janet and Marsha; brothers David, Tom and Byron; and many, many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind numerous friends who will miss his laugh and generous nature. Glenn was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 31 years, Kathryn Illene (Kiehl) Taylor. He was also preceded by his father, mother, and his older brother, Ken. Memorial Service to be held at 4:00pm, Saturday September 14, 2013, at the Lutheran Church of Christ the King, 1710 85th St E, Tacoma, WA. Please bring a donation of canned food for the Fish Food Bank in Glenn's name. Flowers may be sent in care of Rachel Caudill. Peaceful journey, Pop. We love you! Please see guest book to leave comments for the family.
