David D Scheinost

David Durrell Scheinost, a 24-year-old from Puyallup, WA passed away on Tuesday, July 24 in the waters off of Bainbridge Island from a diving accident. He was a graduate of the Divers Institute of Technology 2010, and worked for the Department of Natural Resources as a diver. David was born on July 2, 1988 to Eric Scheinost and Ginny Sizemore inRedmond,WA. Known by his friends as Davey Doom, David was known for his positive outgoing demeanor. David was a talented musician and "Lord of the Rings"enthusiast, and he enjoyed fishing, hiking,ping pong and video games. David loved his job working with the Department of Natural Resources as diving was one of his deepest passions. Though his passing was tragic and premature, friends and family find comfort in the fact that he passed away performing a service to the people of Washington state while doing something he loved. David was fiercely dedicated to his friends and family, and deeply loved his girlfriend, Angela Singleton. David's friends and family will never forget his uncanny ability to eat tons of food, his unique sense of humor, and how contagious and ongoing his laughter was. The people who had the privilege of knowing him will remain forever touched by his friendship. David was living on 6th Avenue in Tacoma, WA with his girlfriend at the time of his passing, they loved their apartment they had together. David is survived by his mother, Ginny Sizemore, his father, Eric Scheinost, his sister, Erica Schuman, his stepmother,Alicia Scheinost, and his stepsisters,Anahi and Lysandra Trejo. He was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Abel Joseph Trejo. Viewing to be held 5-8PM Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Edwards Memorial Lakewood, 11020 S. Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499.
