Yvonne Irene “Vonnie” Thomas, 57, passed away September 4, 2017 in Centralia, Washington. She was born October 9, 1959 to Shirley Hovey and Gordon Joslin in Columbus, Ohio. Over the years, she also lived in Las Vegas, Nevada; Greensburg, Kansas; and Great Bend, Kansas. Vonnie was a lithographer; worked in the food and beverage industry; and, for the last 11 years, has been a full time, live-in Granny, caring for her grandchildren, Shanna, Cameron and Maddi-Lynn Thomas. She oversaw many special events, such as first days of school, first lost teeth, and so much more. She also enjoyed camping. Vonnie is survived by her son, Shawn Thomas; daughter, Tracy Thomas; six grandchildren; brothers, Phillip Clark and Bruce Clark; and sisters, Patricia Smith and Lorrie Burgin. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Ronnie Sloey. Please leave memories of Vonnie or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
