Rev. Jerry Lynwood Davidson, Sr.
November 16th, 1941 - October 31st, 2021
Rev. Jerry Lynwood Davidson, Sr.79, died Sunday, October 31,2021 at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson, NC. He was born in Hillsborough County, Florida to the late Jack W. Davidson, Sr. and Juanida Wilkins Davidson Parker. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack W. Davidson, Jr., Lawrence McLellan and William McLellan all of N. Ft. Myers, Fl. and one grandson Justin D. Davidson of Morrisville, NC. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Florence M. Davidson. Mr. Davidson pastored churches from Florida, Mississippi and North Carolina for about 50 years. He was also a carpenter by trade. He was well known and loved everywhere he went. He loved his family and friends. Rev. Ricky Lamm will conduct funeral services at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Blaylock Funeral Home of Warrenton. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle, Florida at 10:00 am on November 9, 2021 with Pastors Gene Little, Charley Watts and Stacey Goodbread officiating. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Peggy Preddy Hedgepeth Davison, three sons, Jerry Davidson, Jr. of N. Ft. Myers, Fl., Larry Davidson of Oxford, NC and Hank Davidson of Hope Mills, NC, one daughter, Rene D. Allen of Mims, Fl. and one step daughter Amy H. Flynn of Henderson, NC., twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
