Maria Aurora Rivas, age 96, of Lutz, Florida passed away on January 15, 2022 in Tampa Lakes Health and Rehabilitation. Maria was born in Sancti-Spiritus, Cuba on October 19, 1925 to the late Julio J. and Maria Josefa De La Aguilera De Valdivia. She married Jose L. Rivas, Sr; he preceded her in death. Maria leaves behind her children; Jose L. Rivas, Jr, Jorge L. Rivas, Julio Rivas, Maria Ingelmo Carmen Rivas, Anna Smith, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, sister; Silvia De Valdivia Muzelle Maria will be cremated and her cremains will be placed in Fort Denaud Cemetery. Cremation and burial are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
