Timothy Scott Neilson, 52, passed away January 27, 2019 in Onalaska, Washington, his home of 25 years. He was born December 2, 1966 to Gloyd and Iva Mae Neilson in Plainville, Kansas. Tim attended Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) and Southern Utah University, served an LDS mission (1986-1988), and was a self-employed chicken farmer. He was very personable, funny, fun-loving and compassionate. He had a heart of gold and was a mentor to many. He also was friendly and had a great love for people in all walks of life. His innovative spirit, passion, and vision will be missed. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tim will be lovingly remembered by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his father, Gloyd Neilson, and his wife, Leonor; brothers, Paul and Mike; sisters, Toni, Kay and Marcia; many nieces and nephews; and friends. He was predeceased by his mother. There will be a viewing on Saturday, February 2, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 102 Crumb Road, Morton, WA 98356, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., and burial at Klickitat Cemetery, 367 Mossyrock Road W, Mossyrock, WA 98564.
