Jana Lee Edgerton

Jana Lee Edgerton was born on April 18, 1950 in Seattle, WA to James and JoAnn Stanton. Jana lived most of her early life in Port Orchard, WA and was a 1968 graduate of South Kitsap High School. She also lived in California as a child, and later moved to Oregon where on December 12, 1987 she married her husband, Gene Edgerton. In her younger years she was President of SK Pony Colt baseball. She held a variety of jobs over her lifetime, working for Boeing, a lumber mill and owned and operated an Adult Care Home. Her children and family were the joy of her life. She is survived by her husband Gene, her sons Dennis (Nikkoly), Chad (Tricia), Trevor (Alicia) and Travis (RyAnne) Stanley, stepdaugher Jaunita (Dave) Kean, sister in law Elaine Stanton, nephew Casey Stanton and niece Bridget Nielson. She was also “Nana” to 17 grandchildren and had a dear friend that we are thankful for Dottie Goldsby. Jana is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Wendy Nielson, brother Tye Stanton, and nephews Eric and Ryan Nielson. A celebration of life will be held on July 21, 2013 at 3pm at the home of Chad Stanley.
