Jacqualine Christine Newberry passed away December 7, 2020, in Tacoma, Washington. She was born June 4, 1983, to Ruby J. Dawes and Thomas D. DeFord in Aberdeen, Washington. She graduated from high school in Centralia, Washington, and worked as an optometrist assistant. A caring mother, daughter and friend, Jacqualine was quick witted, humorous, and beautiful inside and out. She loved spending time and having adventures with her sons, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also loved photographing the boys and the rest of her family. She enjoyed crafting. Jacqualine is survived by her former husband, Steven Newberry, with whom she remained best friends; sons, Alexander Thomas Newberry and Dylan Joseph Newberry of Centralia; sister, Ashley N. Kytta of Centralia; parents, Thomas D. DeFord and Ruby J. Dawes; and grandfather, Hal Morton. She was predeceased by grandparents, Phyllis Morton, Tom DeFord, and Midge DeFord Gish. Services to be held when we are all able to safely gather together. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
