Lora Mae Gerstman

Lora Mae Gerstman, age 97, of LaBelle, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 27, 2022, while staying at Orchid Cove of LaBelle. Lora Mae was born on September 25, 1925, in LaBelle, Florida to the late Benjamin and Lillian Mae Miller Cross. She married Willie Alfred Gerstman; he preceded her in death on April 20, 1991. Lora Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by her entire family and friends. Lora Mae leaves fond memories with her children; Sheila Sheltra, Steve Gerstman, Sherry Woods, and her nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and her many great-great grandchildren along with her last surviving sister; Doris Dana, along with my extended family members and family friends. Celebration of Lora Mae's life will be celebration with a service at the Ortona Cemetery Pavilion on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor W. T. Maddox, Jr officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service also at the cemetery. Lora Mae will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Bill Gerstman. Celebration arrangements are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
