Mementos

Beloved Husband, Father, Uncle and Grandpa Vince was born November 20, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas, to Patricia Keating and John Martin Humble. He grew up in Seattle, Washington, and attended Cleveland High School. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1970, and was very proud to have served his country while enlisted. Vince is survived by his wife, Mary, who he married on June 23, 1979. They would have celebrated 42 years together this June. He also is survived by his sister, Johanna; brother, Steve; sons, Justin (Teri, first marriage), Evin; daughter, Marissa; numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren who he loved dearly. Vince worked 30 years in the Boilermaker Union and really enjoyed the work of building news ships at Seattle shipyards, notably Todd Shipyard. He made many friends through the years who he cared about and with whom he tried to keep in touch. He especially enjoyed the grandchildren and tried to attend as many sports and school activities as he could. He always put others first and would love to teach the kids to build things or to fish. Vince passed away after a long and painful illness on May 6, 2021, at Centralia Providence Hospital under Hospice care. Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near Still loved, still missed and very dear. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
