Linda Bredo Althauser, 73, passed away of cancer on March 16, 2022, in Centralia, Washington, her home of 63 years. She was born March 9, 1949, to Ruth and Edwin Bredo in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Linda graduated from Centralia High School, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree at Centralia College and Master’s Degree at St. Martin’s. Professionally, she was an English teacher at Centralia High. Linda married Andrew Althauser on April 3, 1969, in Centralia. She was a loving, caring person who made an impact on families and students. She had a great sense of humor, was a great hugger and listener, and the sweetest person you could meet. She enjoyed reading, camping, sailing, traveling, and classic movies. She is survived by her husband, Andrew M. Althauser; sons, Brak C. Althauser (wife, Suzanne) and Nate L. Althauser; three grandchildren; mother; and sister, Kathy Paulis.
