James Ray Jines
April 30th, 1959 - November 14th, 2016
James Ray Jines was born to Jack and Patricia (Hathaway) Jines in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was the youngest of three children, brother Dale Stahl and sister Lynda Harper. The military family of 5 was eventually stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA and settled in Tacoma, WA. From a young age Jim battled Juvenile Diabetes but he wouldnt let it interfere with living a life full of humor and making new memories. He enjoyed a good challenge, especially if golf, arm wrestling or shooting pool was involved. During the summer of 1975 he met the love of his life, Tracy Canfield. The couple share a love for aimless drives, antiquing, and fast cars. They married on September 5th 1981. Together they eventually welcomed their daughter, Alysia, in 1985 As a family they shared many excursions like 4-wheeling in the mountains, fishing adventures, and treasure hunting at yard sales. He was peacefully released from the bonds of this world under the full (super) moon on Monday, November 14th, 2016 at the age of 57 at his home in Tacoma, WA surrounded by loved ones. Please share your memories and stories in the guest book. We cant wait to hear them!
