Peggy Lucille Black passed away on January 17, 2024, from a brief illness. She is survived by husband, Brian Black; daughter, Shelley Lucus; brother, Wes Ament Jr.; sister, Michelle Enos; nieces, Cari Holland and Moses Enos; and nephews, Weston Stevens and Dustin Stevens. Peggy was born in Reno, Nevada, and graduated high school in Redwood City, California, where she became Miss Redwood City in 1963. Peggy worked as a bookkeeper in the restaurant and bar industry, and went on to become co-owner of a nightclub and bar in Angels Camp, California, with husband, Jim Lucus. This evolved into concert promotion and production for a number of years in Northern California. In 1989, Peggy relocated to Yelm, Washington, to attend Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, where she was a passionate student for more than 30 years. In 1990, Peggy married Brian Black, and together they raised various livestock and chickens in Mossyrock, Washington, until the time of her death. Peggy was looking forward to discovering the mysteries of what comes after death. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
