Henry D. Simms, 78, of Punta Gorda, Florida, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Punta Gorda, FL. He was born August 27, 1934 in Starrit, West Virginia to the late Solatha and Doris (nee; Newsome) Simms, He enjoyed his church family at St. Mary's Baptist Church, Punta Gorda, FL He is survived by eight siblings, Ozie Simms and his wife Cathy of San Diego, CA, Joseph Simms of Carlson, CA, Nadine Simms, of Scranton, PA, Norma Jeffries, of Marlton, NJ, Natalie McCloe of Scranton, PA, Josephine Hudson and her husband Donald, of Houston, TX, Sylvia Parker and her husband Frank of Scranton, PA, and Sol Simms and his wife Cathy of Scranton, PA; many, many nieces and nephews.
