Winifred Joyce Wrenne

Winifred "Joyce" Wrenne, 73, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Joyce was born May 6, 1940 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Isaac and Winnie Spillman and moved to Punta Gorda in 1980 where she worked as a nurse in area hospitals and Intermedic Health Center. Joyce earned her Bachelor of Science as a Registered Nurse where she found her passion in Oncology and became certified and worked alongside Dr. Mark Tobin and the late Dr. Alejandro Pizarro. She ended her career employed by Hospice and Sterling House Punta Gorda. Joyce is survived by her children, Robin Hickey of Raynham, MA, Thomas (Pamela) Reams of Cameron, NC, William (Lisa) Reams of Punta Gorda, Lisa Fleeman of Port Charlotte, and Mellissa (Dale) Russell of Punta Gorda; children she helped raise, Lauri Perrault, Jimmy Boutilier, and Callie Finethy Mellana; grandchildren, Adam, James, Jesse, Bjorn, Heather, Wendy, Jennifer, Derrick (Samantha) , William Jr., Jamie, Ryan, Hailee, Brittany and Aaron; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Christ Community Church, 518 Middleboro Avenue in East Taunton, MA.
