LaDonna J. Mason passed away July 24, 2018 in Yelm, Washington, her home of 10 years. She was 10 days short of turning 56. LaDonna as born August 3, 1962 to Walter Spotford and Lauraella Cleveland in Rochester, New York. She proudly served in the U.S. Army as a wheeled vehicle repairer. She enlisted January 3, 1985 in Buffalo, New York, and was honorably discharged on December 31, 2001 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. LaDonna was a fun, outgoing, sweet and helpful. She would strike up a conversation with strangers and leave being their friend. She also would go out of her way to help others. LaDonna loved talking with friends and family, playing the slot machine at the casino, listening to music, and shopping until she dropped. She is survived by her son, Dante Mason of Yelm; daughters, Allyssa Howard of Yelm and Tiffany Moore of Lawton, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; brother, Vernon Lee Cleveland of Rochester, New York; and sisters, Angela Hollingsworth of Olympia, Washington, and Margaret Ann Cleveland and Stephanie Cleveland, both of Rochester, New York. She was predeceased by her parents.
