William Riley Brown, 78, of Rockmart, Georgia passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at his granddaughter's residence in Mulberry, Florida. Mr. Brown was born February 11, 1935 in Totz, Kentucky to John and Martha (nee Wilmot) Brown and moved to Mulberry 2 months ago from Rockmart. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Church of God Church in Totz, KY. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Dixon) Brown of Rockmart, GA; daughter, Sherry L. Sheldon of Rockmart, GA; brothers, Carmen (Linda) Brown of North Port, FL, Bill (Roxanne) Brown of West Harrison, IN, and Walter (Diane) Brown of Putney, KY; sisters, Natilla (Barry) Benjamin of Alexmoria, KY and Zelda (Riley) Causey of Landcaster, KY; grandchildren, Michael (Megan) Davis of Mulberry, FL, Mickey (Jessica) Davis of North Port, FL, and Billy Joe Brown of Rockmart, GA; and 2 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10-11:00AM on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 (Kings Highway) in Lake Suzy, FL. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL.
