Dorothy V. Justis Downs, 93, of Decatur, Illinois died 8:50PM, Friday, August 13, 2010. She was born in July of 1917 in Monticello, IL to Earl and Gertrude VanFleet Hall. She married Donald M. Justis and he died in 1981. Mrs. Downs enjoyed her volunteer work. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM, Monday, August 16, 2010 at Maranatha Assembly of God. Burial will be in Charlotte Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, Florida. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements in Illinois and Paul Schelm Funeral Home in Port Charlotte is in charge of arrangements in Florida. She leaves 1 daughter, Sue Brady and husband, Jerry of Port Orange, FL; 2 sons, Wilbur Justis and wife, Deane of Decatur and D. Lynn Justis and wife, Kim of Daytona Beach, FL; grandchildren, Kim Perry, Debbie Dobson, Karen Kaylor, Kimberly Baer, Cheryl and Melissa Justis, Amy Sarwarko, and Bradley and Brent Justis; and several great-grandchildren.
