Norma Allie Bale was born September 19, 1925 and died January 25, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Bertha and Arthur Billings. She married Walter Dieter who died on May 25, 1962 after having four daughters together. Norma was President of the Washington Ceramics Association for 13 years until 1979. She then started her own ceramic mold business, Apple Molds, and moved to South Carolina. She lived there until 1987 when she moved back to Washington to live closer to her family. She has traveled to numerous places across the country and her favorite place being Mt. Rainer.
