Mollie Kathleen Meagher

Mollie Kathleen Meagher, 43, passed away after a five-year struggle with ovarian cancer on July 10, 2019 at her home in Olympia, Washington. She had the love and support of her family. Mollie was born September 18, 1975 to David and Iris Higgs in Covina, California. The family moved to Olympia, where she has lived the past 40 years. She graduated with honors from Timberline High School in 1994. She then attended Seattle Art Institute, graduating in 1998 with a degree in computer animation. Mollie married Joseph Meagher on April 19, 2003. She worked as a legal secretary for several years. Mollie loved photography and had her own studio, Ellie Belle Photography, specializing in newborn babies. She also enjoyed art and cake decoration. Her family and friends will remember her for her quiet caring and thoughtfulness. She had so many talents and had excelled in whatever she did. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Joe; her parents, David and Iris Higgs; grandmother, Arva Jean Higgs; and her brothers, Patrick and Timothy. Mollie was preceded in death by her grandparents, David J. Higgs, and William and Kathleen Parkin. The family will have a private service.
