Linda Sue Volkman
June 16th, 1950 - August 27th, 2016
Linda Sue Volkman Sunrise June 16, 1950 Sunset August 27, 2016 Linda was born in Baltimore MD. She was adopted and raised as an only child. As a child of military parents, Linda lived in many places and experienced many things. She enjoyed her life in Rhode Island, Maine, and San Diego CA. After high school Linda successfully completed home-making and cake decorating courses. These courses prepared her for the life of a Navy wife and loving mother of three children. The family settled in Tacoma WA, where Linda continued to be a care provider for the family. Linda was a faithful laundry attendant for her boss Jerry. She enjoyed serving the community and was loved by everyone she met. Linda battled cancer several years ago and won. Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Medicine pulled her through the cancer storms. On two other occasions, Linda had to fight for her life and again she won. Her determination and happy outlook on life, with blessings from above allowed Linda to live on. Linda loved angels, light houses, dolphins, fairies, butterflies and the color purple. Linda was talented in cooking, crocheting, jewelry making and giving joy to everyone she met. Linda leaves to mourn her three children eldest son Joseph Volkman, Rebecca (Stacy) Scott, Patrick (Lori) Volkman, three granddaughters Lea Scott, Andria Scott, and Sarah Scott, two grandsons Micheal Thomas Volkman and Ethan Scott Volkman; three great grandchildren Micheal, Mary and Brenda. Linda will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends. Once again she will live in our hearts forever.
