78, born 4/21/1928 in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska and passed away 9/19/2006 in Gig Harbor, WA surrounded by his loving family. Richard worked 45 years in the airline industry starting with TWA and retiring as a VP at GATX. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Teddee of Gig Harbor, WA; son, Steve (Carol); 2 daughters, Katherine (John) Pelkey of New York, Cynthia Wagener of Seattle, WA; step-daughter, Gina (Vince) Villeneuve of Auburn, WA; 2 brothers, Wayne Wagener of CO, John Alexander of MO; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. Service with military honors to be held 12:45 PM Wednesday, 9/27/2006 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Franciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport Way W, University Place, WA 98466. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008.
