June 24th, 1937 - August 21st, 2016
"YOU MAY BE GONE FROM OUR SIGHT BUT YOU NEVER GONE FROM OUR HEART" Juanito Arede of Gig Harbor Washington died on Sunday morning (August 21st,2016). Juanito was born in Cavite City Philippines to his Parents Anastacio and Trinidad Arede. He is the third of six siblings. Adoracion Segovia, Bienvenido Arede, Juanito Arede, Augusto Arede,Carmelita Udan, and Leonilo Arede. Juanito Arede was a hard worker and energetic, he started working when he was a little boy helping his family. Then he went to Olongapo City Philippines to help his Godparents selling fruits and vegetables at the market. He finished his High School and he then met the love of his life, Lydia Maayo Arede. They moved to Subic Zambales Philippines, where there were many happy times and raising 10 beautiful children. He is excellent carpenter, very creative and crafty. He could fix anything, he could figure anything out. He worked at Subic Naval Base (shipyard)as a pipe fitter (1963-1983). He gathered many dear friends over the years and was a wonderful inspiration not only to his brothers and sisters but to his children as well. When his children started to go to college, He decided to work in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) for 17 years. After so many years of hard work, he came to live with his daughter here in America. In 2009 he lost his beautiful and loving wife. Juanito was so very grateful for loving support from his daughter Janeth Sullivan, son in law Douglas Sullivan and grandchildren Justin and Jared Sullivan of Gig Harbor and his family during his illness. He was also grateful for his Doctor, Multi care home health, hospice and palliative care team in Tacoma Wa. and Edwards Memorial funeral and Cremation Services. and all his friends. Juanito Arede leaves behind his seven daughters, Araceli Labampa(Ram), Arleen Arede(Cel) Janeth Sullivan(Douglas), Bheng Metcalfe(Bob), Angela Arede, Jocelyn Arede, Soledad Johnson(William), and son Angelo Arede(Avon). Grandchildren Ramcel(Charl), Ejay(Jerds), Babydoll(Mark), Jason Labampa, Ana Corina Arede, Justin,Jared Sullivan, Cody, Abby(Austin),Emily Metcalfe, Paul Henson, Patrick, Aidyl Johnson,Angel Arede, great grandchildren Kupo,Uno,Elai,Jailyn,Adam,Sophia. His brother Augusto Arede and family,His Sister Carmelita Udan and family, all his nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces/nephews. "GOODBYES ARE NOT FOREVER, GOODBYES ARE NOT THE END, THEY SIMPLY MEAN... I'LL WILL MISS YOU, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN" Thank you everyone...God bless us all!
