Diana Mae Martin passed away January 31, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Richard Martin; her daughter, Amy Martin; her sister, Deborah Nelsen; and three grandsons, Gage, Bailee, and Jeremy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin C. and Vivian Mae Hunter, and her brother Randy C. Hunter. Diana enjoyed gardening, running household needs, and communicating with people. She was a devoted wife and mother. She worked various jobs from self employed cleaning, retail, customer service, and child day care. She was always willing to help people with verbal inspiration and medical advice. Diana was known to help family and friends with knowledge of medical problems. She would always look and review medications from her medical books. She would help as much as she could and give all the support she could. She was always joyful and smiling. I am at rest now. Do not weep for me. I go far ,far away to the promised land. Remember the good times we had, the times we shared while I was on this Earth. Rejoice the times we had and the laughter we shared. Somewhere a journey begins at the end of our worldly existence we know. God opens a path to stretch over the stars and rivers of memories that flow. God helps us as much as he can but there is an End of Life for all of us. Diana is with God and has found his path of a new beginning. Diana’s soul will be with God and find its way to the light. Diana was always joyful and smiling and willing to do what she could for everyone. She was an inspiration to me and everyone else. There will be a celebration of Diana's life on Sunday, February 22, 2015 1:00 p.m. at the Eagle's Club 7037 South Pine Street in Tacoma, WA.
