Linda L. Christine

Linda Lee Christine passed away of heart failure on January 13, 2020 in Olympia, Washington. She was born July 14, 1937 to Paul Judge and Faye Judge Beaumarriage in Port Angeles, Washington. She also resided in Bellevue, Washington. Linda graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1955. She married Clark Sleeth Christine on November 28, 1969 in Bellevue, Washington. Previously, she had been married to Jerry Allen Schmith on March 23, 1957 (passed away April 25, 1958); and Richard Elliott Back on August 26, 1961 (passed away May 2, 1968). Professionally, Linda was a teacher’s aide with North Thurston School District from 1973 to 1989. She was a member of Lacey Presbyterian Church and Ladies of the Elks. Later she was a volunteer at Group Health for many years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, working on puzzles, and collecting Santa Claus-related items. She also loved short travel trips, especially to the beach where she could watch and listen to the ocean waves. Linda is survived by her husband, Clark S. Christine; daughter, Pamela (Back) Hanson; stepdaughters, Barbara Armendariz and Linda Marie Christine; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Autumn Rambo. She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Jerry Schmith and Richard Back; son, Alan Schmith (November 21, 1958 – February 29, 2004); and her sister, Dale Seaton. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 2830 Willamette Dr. NE, Lacey, WA 98516. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the National Kidney Foundation. NO FLOWERS, PLEASE.
