Daniel Henry Jensen, 40, of Englewood, Florida died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Jensen was born October 5, 1970 in Miami, Florida to John William and Mary Lou (nee Seacord) Jensen and moved to the Englewood area 17 years ago from there. He was an active member of the deaf community of Calvary Baptist Church where he attended. He worked in accounting for Metrorail of Miami. Mr. Jensen is survived by his mother, Mary Lou (Bob) Bassetti of Rotonda, FL; brothers, Kenneth Jensen of Englewood, FL and Clifford (Denise) Jensen of Fort Lauderdale, FL; niece, Katie Jensen of New Hampshire; nephew, Logan Jensen of New Hampshire; and companion, Brenda Quick of Englewood, FL. Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:00PM on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Pine Street (corner of Pine St. and Dearborn Ave.) in Englewood. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM at the church with Pastor Lawrence Shillingburg officiating.
