Joyce L McLane Joyce L. McLane, 83, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 surrounded by family. Born December 7, 1930, in Esther, Missouri, she was a resident of Port Charlotte since 1972. Joyce was a housewife and loving mother. She was a member of the Eagles and the VFW. She is survived by her twin sister, Della (Bill)Vaughn of Columbia, MO. ;children: Judy(Ed)Johnson, Jerry Livingston, Jackie Welfley, George F.(Kristin)McLane Jr. ;grandchildren: Krystal (Adam) Levine, Keith (Angela) Johnson, George Livingston, Patience (Sean) Hackett, Adrian (Rick) Shotwell, Aaron (Alexis) Weedo, Lorin (Heidi) Livingston, Amy Weedo, Autumn (Michael) Hazy, Corey McLane, Cameron McLane, Christopher McLane, Sara McLane, Jacob McLane; thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, George F. McLane, in 1987, her mother, Eula May Umfleet, father, Noah Everett Umfleet, 6 brothers and sisters, and longtime companion Arnie Pearson. Visitation will be Tuesday July 8, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm and the Service will be Wednesday July 9, 2014 at 2pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda.
